Projects
Work That Speaks for Itself.
A cross-section of Division 27/28 engagements — from pre-design through occupancy — across healthcare, education, gaming, hospitality, government, and tribal broadband.
Every project below represents an owner, GC, or contractor who needed an independent set of eyes on their low-voltage scope. The details vary. The standard doesn't.
Regional Medical Center — Structured Cabling & Nurse Call Infrastructure
Owner's representation, RCDD design, and construction-phase inspection for a 180,000 sq ft acute-care facility. Scope included Cat 6A horizontal cabling, single-mode backbone, wireless infrastructure, and nurse call integration.
System delivered on schedule with full manufacturer warranty. Punch list closed in two walkthroughs.
K–12 Campus Expansion — Division 27/28 Design & Bid Support
Full Division 27 and 28 design and specification for a new 90,000 sq ft academic building. Provided bid-phase clarifications, addenda, and contractor pre-qualification support for the GC.
Competitive bid process yielded three qualified low-voltage contractors. Design awarded without RFI backlog.
Tribal Casino & Hotel — GPON Passive Optical LAN
RCDD design and installation oversight for a GPON passive optical LAN serving 400+ guest rooms, casino floor, and back-of-house operations. Coordinated with the installing contractor on optical power budgets, splitter placement, and ONT provisioning.
Eliminated active switch infrastructure in guest room corridors. Manufacturer warranty secured.
Tribal Nation Broadband Infrastructure — Fiber Backbone & Outside Plant
Infrastructure planning and RCDD design for a tribal broadband initiative spanning multiple community facilities. Scope included outside plant fiber routing, splice enclosure placement, and pathway coordination with civil and electrical trades.
Phased design allowed construction to begin on priority facilities while remaining sites were permitted.
Municipal Public Safety Facility — ERRCS / Public-Safety DAS
Division 28 design and AHJ coordination for an in-building public-safety DAS (ERRCS) in a new municipal emergency operations center. Provided signal coverage analysis, BDA/DAS equipment specifications, and inspection documentation for the AHJ.
System passed AHJ acceptance testing on first submission.
Enterprise Data Center — Structured Cabling Audit & Remediation
Post-construction audit of an existing 8,000 sq ft data center. Identified labeling discrepancies, untested links, and warranty-voiding installation practices. Produced a remediation scope and managed the corrective work through re-certification.
Full manufacturer warranty reinstated. As-built documentation delivered to the owner.
